Welcome, my name is Andreia Machado. I am a Portuguese professional chef and author of Dontask4salt, a vegetarian food blog with my favourite recipes, and my personal journey as a food lover.
I developed my chef career working at the Bulgari Hotel in Milan and the Gordon Ramsay Group in London. I’ve learnt how to make Indian food from scratch and it’s my absolute favourite cuisine. As a vegetarian, I’ve found that Indian food has the most diverse and balanced vegetarian dishes options. Making homemade Indian food is easy if you have the right recipes and spices, and much healthier than in restaurants.
